Lips have been Blushed! Now lets take care of them

Updated: Mar 27, 2023

Welcome to the club, lip blusher! Now that you've taken the plunge and gotten your luscious lips, here's how to keep 'em looking as fab as the day of your treatment:

- Swelling, bruising, asymmetry, and soreness is expected after receiving lip blush. Sorry girlfriend, it will all be worth it, we promise!

- No picking at the pigmented area. Picking can cause damage and disruption to the healed pigment, so it's best to leave it alone.

- For the first 5-7 days, Rinse, cleanse with your Omen + Onyx Ink Wash, pat dry, and keep your lips consistently hydrated with your Omen + Onyx Aftercare Ointment until the peeling stops. If you need more ointment, please let us know! We don’t want you drying out!

- After the peeling has subsided, continue to keep your lips moisturized and protected. Aggressive sun and wind exposure will disturb the pigment and can damage delicate skin, so make sure you reapply your lip balm of choice or sunscreen before heading outside.

- Avoid activities that may put your lips at risk. That means no swimming, no saunas and avoiding physical contact with other surfaces for 7-10 days.

-Remember, Lip blushing fades 40-60% from your initial session, so don’t panic if they appear much lighter. We will be able to tweak the pigment at your touch up appointment.

- Make sure to keep your touch up appointment. Regular touch ups can help ensure your lips stay kissably perfect—it's easier to maintain than to reinvent the wheel.

Break out your chapstick and sashay away—you know now how to keep your pouts looking perfect.
